What players and teams should you be watching for in the NFL‘s Week 17 slate?

The NFL season is sadly winding town. Fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tennessee Titans will no longer have to watch their teams play putrid football like they did in 2014. However, with the end of the regular season, the best teams go forward and will duel for the ultimate prize of winning a Super Bowl trophy. With playoff spots still available, there will be a ton of implications in Week 17. Here is a slideshow of what to watch for in Week 17.

Odell Beckham Jr.

If it weren’t for a hamstring injury that sidelined him for the first four weeks of the NFL season, it’s not crazy to believe that I could be sitting here saying Odell Beckham Jr. had the best year out of any wide receiver. Despite being a rookie, Beckham has taken the league by storm. In just 11 games, the LSU product has caught 79 passes for 1,120 yards and 11 touchdowns. In a year that has been bad for the New York Giants, it’s crazy that Giants fans are still happy watching this team week in and week out and the main reason why is because of the play of Beckham Jr.

Considering the torrid pace he is, Beckham Jr. will be licking his chops to get to face a Philadelphia Eagles’ defense that simply is lackluster in the defensive backfield. Cary Williams and Bradley Fletcher aren’t quick enough to keep off Beckham Jr. and that means that another huge week is in the future for the rookie.
