The Green Bay Packers are taking on the Detroit Lions in the finale of the regular season. While it is a divisional rivalry, the NFC North crown is on the line and a first-round bye.
The Packers were the favorites at home coming into the game, as they’re undefeated at Lambeau Field so far this season.
Winning the NFC North crown and having a deep play off run is all in jeopardy after quarterback Aaron Rodgers came up injured on a play. While scrambling out of the pocket Rodgers suddenly abandoned his run and began hopping on one leg. He still managed to throw a touchdown pass to Randall Cobb, but Rodgers went to the ground.

The fact that no one touched him when he was injured is a bit worrisome, suggesting either a tear or a sprain. He looked like he was in a great amount of pain as he rolled around on the ground and had his hand near his knee. That is an interesting small detail, because Rodgers came into the game nursing a calf injury, suggesting it could be anew injury.
The Packers can still win the game, up 14-0, but Rodgers is absence will be a big obstacle for the rest of their season.
Rodgers was eventually carted off the field.
[UPDATE:] Andrew Siciliano of NFL Red Zone channel said it was a calf injury and his return is questionable.
