The Bills drove straight down the field for the go-ahead score on a Robert Woods touchdown catch.
On a cold winter’s day in Foxborough, the Bills and Patriots are playing in the last regular season game of the year. The Patriots have already clinched the AFC East along with home-field advantage throughout the playoffs while Buffalo is trying to get their first winning record in quite some time. The Patriots are considered heavy favorites by many to win the Super Bowl so they won’t risk too much in a meaningless game.
The game started off right for Buffalo as they drove down the field in six plays for 80 yards and a touchdown after Kyle Orton found receiver Robert Woods for a six yard strike into the end zone.
For the second consecutive week, Kyle Orton and Robert Woods have connected in the end zone for a touchdown.
Even though there aren’t any implications in this game, any time these two long-time division rivals get together, it’s always going to be physical and worth something to the players competing. A winning season could go a long way for the future of the Bills franchise and the players, like Robert Woods, want to turn the fortunes of the once dominant franchise around.
