Seattle Seahawks, Marshawn Lynch

Marshawn Lynch has been playing extremely good football this season with the Seattle Seahawks. He has been one of the main reasons that they got out of their slump to start the season, and they are back to the dominant brand of football that won them a championship last year.

He finished the season carrying the football 280 times for 1,306 yards and 13 touchdowns. Those numbers came after his disappointment in the Seahawks’ front office after the trade that sent Percy Harvin to the New York Jets. There have been rumblings that he might not be back with Seattle next year, but things appear to have been patched up and Lynch is playing extremely good football.

If the Seahawks are going to win their second Super Bowl in a row, they are going to need Lynch to come through and be their glue guy.

Russell Wilson is a great quarterback, but he isn’t going to be able to do it by himself. If the Seahawks get consistently good performances from Lynch, they are going to be sitting pretty against most opponents that they face on their way through the NFC playoffs.
