Ndamukong Suh Suspended For NFC Wild Card Game
By Josh Hill
The Detroit Lions have likely had just about enough of Ndamukong Suh. After intentionally stepping on Aaron Rodgers’ injured calf, and a subsequent suspension, the Lions will have to play a pivotal NFC Wild Card game without the defensive standout.

The NFL has suspended Nadmukong Suh one game for stepping on the calf of Aaron Rodgers on Sunday afternoon in what appeared to be an intentional attempt to injure the Packers quarterback. The one game suspension can be appealed by Suh, but as of rightness the Lions will be heading into their NFC Wild Card matchup against the Dallas Cowboys without Suh in the lineup.
This causes a number of problems for a number of reasons, as Suh is about to hit free agency and is giving the Lions no reason to pay him what he wants. Suh is without a doubt one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL, but he’s going to miss the biggest game of his career so far because he can’t stop being a nuisance on the field.
Losing the appeal and the Lions losing in the postseason could be the end of Ndamukong Suh in Detroit. Games like the one they’re about to play — against an offense the Suh needs to harass and a run game that needs to be plugged — is why the Lions have Suh.
Without him, he’s useless and only proves that he may have been a bad investment after all, despite the successes he’s had with the team.
