Which teams have the easiest road to the Super Bowl?

With the NFL season finally over and the playoff picture made clear, the teams who have made the 12-team bracket are preparing for their first games. In a season that saw many twists and turns, it’s good to know that teams were competing in Week 17 for a chance to make the playoffs. This makes the NFL fun and intriguing.

In the AFC, four teams were vying for the sixth seed. Because of the San Diego Chargers’ loss to the Chase Daniel-led Kansas City Chiefs, the Baltimore Ravens were able to sneak into the playoffs with a win at home against the Cleveland Browns. If the Ravens lost, the Houston Texans would’ve made the playoffs as they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars. Finally, if the Texans lost, then the Chiefs would’ve found themselves in the playoffs. Crazy, right?

In the NFC, the Dallas Cowboys had a chance of making the No. 2 seed. Dallas needed the Arizona Cardinals to lose to the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks to lose to the St. Louis Rams. Arizona lost, but Seattle won. Because of that, the Cowboys are No. 3 seed and the Seahawks are the No. 1 seed. The Green Bay Packers are the No. 3 because of their win over the Detroit Lions, who are now the No. 6 seed. In the putrid NFC South, the Carolina Panthers are the No. 4 seed because they beat the Atlanta Falcons.

With all of that being said, the playoffs are coming. Now is the time where the big boys come out and play the game of football. How I decided these five teams was basically half being their road and half being the way their team is playing. Without further adieu, here are the five easiest roads to the Super Bowl.
