2. Dallas Cowboys

Is there a hotter team in the NFL right now than the Dallas Cowboys? Truthfully, I don’t think so. Although they are the No. 3 seed, everything seems to be clicking for the Cowboys right now. They have won four straight games, and they have scored a total of 165 points, which is an average of 41 points per game over the past four games. As I said earlier, everything is truly clicking for the Cowboys. Tony Romo is playing the best football of his career, DeMarco Murray is running the football with ease, the offensive line is pushing opponents out of the way, and Dez Bryant is in full beast mode.

With the groove they are in, it’s hard to see anyone stopping this Cowboys’ offense. Add in the fact that they are 8-0 on the road and it’s not hard to see why the Cowboys could actually surprise many people and make a deep run into the playoffs. Their defense is their Achilles heel, but over the past four weeks, they have 12 takeaways. Another thing is that Brandon Carr is playing like the guy the Cowboys paid him to be a few years ago. It’s not a popular pick considering Romo is still their quarterback, but the Cowboys deserve respect and some recognition. 12-4 isn’t lucky. It’s quite impressive for a team that was projected to be 6-10.
