Losers: Detroit Lions

Cue the usual Detroit Lions end of season collapse, although this year it was just one game.

Was it too much to ask to wander into Lambeau Field and win?

Probably, but while you don’t blame them totally for falling apart against a Green Bay offensive which is a juggernaut right now, you can point out that it puts them in a less-than-wonderful position. The last thing they wanted to do was head to Dallas to take on a surprising Cowboys team.

The Cowboys are playing out of their mind on defense and have an absolutely monster offense, anchored by their offensive line.

This will be a fascinating matchup between a tough defensive line and a ridiculously good offensive line.

Again though, this was not what the Lions wanted. They entered the day hoping for a bye and the chance to force someone to travel to Detroit. Now they won’t see Detroit again and they are faced with a tough game immediately.
