With the offseason acquisition of Pau Gasol and Derrick Rose finally seeming to round the corner and return to health after missing most of the past two seasons the Bulls are a team that is playing with some major confidence.
The Bulls enter the contest with the Pacers at 21-9 while on a 6 game winning streak and winners of 9 of their last 10. With the way that they are playing they are really stirring up the rest of the league and look to make a second half of the season push for the #1 seed of the Eastern Conference currently owned by the Toronto Raptors.
The Bulls are fourth right now behind the Raptors, the Hawks at second and the Wizards at third. There is a total of 2.5 games between first and fourth place in the east right now in a tight race.
