New England Patriots star tight end Rob Gronkowski led all NFL tight ends in jersey sales throughout the entire 2014 season.
Rob Gronkowski is one of the most dominant tight ends to ever play the game, and he has come through with yet another huge season this year for the New England Patriots. Last year, he went down with a horrific knee injury, but his return this season was one of the main factors in turning the Patriots’ disappointing start of the season around.

During 15 regular season game this season with the Patriots this season, he has caught 82 passes for 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns.
He ended up leading all NFL tight ends in jersey sales throughout the entire 2014 season, and was 14th in the league in sales overall. Those numbers come from the DICK’s Sporting Goods Jersey Report, which takes into consideration every single jersey sale both nationwide and online.
New England is currently the top seed in the AFC, and figure to be legitimate contenders to make it to yet another Super Bowl under Tom Brady. While Brady has had another great season, he will only go as far as Gronkowski can help take him. The Patriots have been targeting Gronkowski early and often this season, and that is going to continue moving forward.
The next closest tight end to Gronkowski was Heather Miller at 29th overall. That shows just how impressive the sales that Gronkowski has been having from the tight end position.
It is going to be very interesting to see whether or not he can continue his big numbers into the playoffs. The Patriots have a legitimate chance to win yet another Super Bowl, but Gronkowski is going to need to be a force to be reckoned with for opposing defenses. There aren’t many defenders that can match up with him, and the Patriots will be looking to take advantage of that.
