By Cory Buck
Chicago Bears owner Virginia McCaskey is reportedly ‘pissed’ about the team’s fourth straight playoff absence.
For Chicago Bears fans angry about another disappointing season, ownership has a message: so are we. Specifically, majority owner Virginia McCaskey is ‘pissed’ according to those close to her, and expects better results in the 2015 NFL season.

“She’s been very supportive,” Virginia’s son, George McCaskey, said per the Chicago Tribune. “She agrees with the decisions that we’ve made. She’s pissed off. I can’t think of a 91-year-old woman that that description would apply, but in this case, I can’t think of a more accurate description.”
The Bears were a dismaying 5-11 this season thanks to a shoddy defense and a woeful offense. The team ended its season on a five game losing streak, having won only two of their final ten games. As a result, coach Marc Trestman and GM Phil Emery were fired. The team must now hire a new staff, which will be charged with rebuilding a roster that many felt had playoff potential this season.
“She’s been on this Earth for eight of the Bears’ nine championships, and she wants more,” McCaskey said. “She feels that it’s been too long since the last one, and that dissatisfaction is shared by her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She’s fed up with mediocrity. She feels that she and Bears fans everywhere deserve better.”
