Tuesday is a monumental afternoon in Ann Arbor, Michigan as Jim Harbaugh was officially introduced as the 20th head coach in the storied history of the Michigan Wolverines football program. After all of the anticipation, the former Michigan quarterback met in front of a slew of media to discuss his intentions going forward with the Wolverines.
Of course, as we’ve seen throughout the course of the past few years, Michigan football is nowhere near where they want, nor expect, to be. Because of this, Michigan fans will be looking for Harbaugh to turn the program around.
Although, as we learned during the introductory press conference on Tuesday, Harbaugh doesn’t much like the notion of turning the program around. No, according to the new head coach, there is no such thing as a “turnaround” at Michigan. This program is just expected to be great immediately.

Given the hype surrounding this hire, and rightfully so, Harbaugh had better hope they can hit that greatness level sooner rather than later.
