More from College Football

We have made it. We’ve made it to the final day of the year 2014, which means that it’s time to get into the meat of the college football bowl game schedule.

This year, with the new College Football Playoff format in place, the scheduling will be a little different. The bowl game slate on this New Year’s Eve is a little lighter, as the new playoff system has spread out the action a little bit more. On this New Year’s Eve we will see the beginning of what is being called the “New Years’ Six” bowl games. Some of the more traditional college football postseason contests will play out, and there are some amazing match ups to be seen.

Here is a look at the complete bowl game schedule for New Year’s Eve, as well as how you can watch it all play out live on Wednesday.

Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl (12:30 PM ET, ESPN/WatchESPN)

The battle in Atlanta this year will feature one team in the Ole Miss Rebels that turned a serious corner this season and another that feels they were snubbed out of a spot in the College Football Playoff. On Wednesday against one of the best teams in the SEC West, TCU will have a chance to validate their frustration.

Fiesta Bowl (4 PM ET, ESPN/WatchESPN)

Here are the Broncos in a big postseason game once again, trying to show that they belong with the big boys. However, they’re going up against the Pac-12 South champions, and a team that doesn’t know how to take its foot off the gas pedal in Arizona.

Orange Bowl (8 PM ET, ESPN/WatchESPN)

In the final game of the day on Wednesday we will see one of the best teams from the SEC West in the Mississippi State Bulldogs taking on the ACC Coastal champion Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. This game might actually break the Orange Bowl record for rushing attempts by the time is all said and done.

Which of these games are you most looking forward to? Let us know in the comments below.
