Mississippi State gave the first half of the Orange Bowl on Wednesday a wild ending.
Mississippi State did not have a good start to the Orange Bowl on Wednesday night against Georgia Tech by any means, and it looked like it might get ugly fast. The Bulldogs fell down 14-0 quickly, and it looked like the SEC might be in for some more shame.
However, Mississippi State was able to get it together and make the comeback, and they capped off the first half in the best way they possibly could.
With time winding down and Mississippi State down 21-13 following another Georgia Tech score, Dak Prescott dropped back and just hurled one to the end zone, a ball which just happened to land in the arms of Fred Ross, who was in the right place at the right time.
Seriously, does no one know how not to bat the ball down anymore?
But this is good news for the Bulldogs, who now will have the momentum when the second half gets underway shortly in Miami.
