It hasn’t taken long for Rex Ryan to generate interest, with the Miami Dolphins being the latest team to show interest in the former New York Jets head coach.

The New York Jets and Rex Ryan parted ways on Monday and it hasn’t taken long for a number of teams to show interest in the former head coach.

More from Miami Dolphins

You have the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers reportedly lining up interviews for Ryan, while there is also a potential job as an anayst at ESPN waiting for Ryan. Now, there is another NFL job to add to the mix.

According to the National Football Post, the Miami Dolphins have offered Rex Ryan a job as the team’s defensive coordinator.

Of course, Ryan is hoping to land a head coaching job, so he may not be interested in taking the job as an assistant on the Dolphins’ coaching staff.

If Ryan does end up in Miami, however, it would provide a great boost to the defensive unit that has some intriguing talent. They just need to have someone that is capable of leading the defense in the right direction.
