Georgia Tech running back Synjyn Days got the second half of the Orange Bowl started in pretty spectacular fashion.
The first half of the Orange Bowl on Wednesday night did not end the way that the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets would have hoped, with Mississippi State converting a Hail Mary to cut the score to 21-20. However, in the second half, Synjyn Days was able to get the momentum right back for his team.
With Georgia Tech needed a huge boost, Days got them one pretty early in the final 30 minutes, making the Mississippi State defense look pretty silly on this 69-yard scoring run.
That was just nasty, although that was a pretty poor job on the part of the Mississippi State defense there. He should have maybe been down about four different times.
But, he wasn’t, and now Georgia Tech has the confidence back that they lost from the Hail Mary.
