Baylor kicker Chris Callahan gave a status update on his life after the Cotton Bowl and the hit that he took.

2015 did not get started the way the Baylor Bears would have wanted with their late loss to Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl. It particularly was not a good afternoon for kicker Chris Callahan, who was absolutely obliterated an the blocked field goal by Michigan State late in the game.

If you missed it, you can watch it here, and laugh a little more as well.

Now obviously after a hit like that, the jokes were coming in that he was dead. Thankfully, though, after the game Callahan took to his twitter account to tell us all that he is very much alive, despite almost having his torso removed.

Well, now that’s good to know.
