We left you hanging the other day with our fantasy basketball re-draft top 25 edition. We have brought you our 11-25 list, and now we will bring you our top ten. This list will serve not only as how we would draft the top 25 players, but also as a ranking to help you figure out how to value players for trades.

We had a few surprises in the first fifteen players of our top 25 list, but there is not a great deal of shockers left. I feel like I have probably under valued Kevin Durant a bit, but with the problems he has had thus far this season it is not too much of a stretch. Your top 10 you could play out in any number of a different ways but for the league outlined here, this is where I personally like each of the players.

So without any further propaganda, let’s get busy and drop the top 10 list for you guys to argue about and present your case as to why your favorite player should be higher or lower on this list. As always, if you have any questions you can feel free to hit me up on Twitter with the link above at the @davefuqua handle.

Blake Griffin. 10. player. 41. Blake Griffin is beginning to develop a more rounded game and finds himself in the top 10 of our list. Most of you cats league guys wold like to see him start blocking some more shots but as a PF who plays the game with incredible power, but with the grace and offensive prowess of a SF, Griffin tends to make up for his lack of blocks by averaging almost 5 assists a game.. Power Forward. Golden State Warriors

9. player. 169. Dwight Howard is one of those big, physically intimidating players that is always fun to own in a points league. Hey guys, I get it if you play roto or cats leagues Dwight isn’t even in your top 50 much less 25, but he is a beast to own in this league where no negatives eat into his value. He can literally miss every foul shot he shoots and still be a top 10 player in this league.. Center. Houston Rockets. Dwight Howard

77. Chris Paul is one of the league’s best point guards with the ability to pass, score and defend. That has always been the driving force behind his value, and CP3 has always found himself at the top of all fantasy ballers top 10 lists. As if I needed another reason, one of my favorite reasons to own Paul is him having Doc Rivers as a coach. As a former PG, Doc seems to coach up PGs very well as he did in Boston with Rajon Rondo.. Point Guard. Los Angeles Clippers. Chris Paul. 8. player

41. Stephen Curry has finally put all those weak ankle woes well behind him and asserted himself as one of the league’s premier players. Curry has continued to take a leap, and finds himself in the top 10 and on one of the leagues best teams with the best record in the NBA. Curry’s needle is aiming up with very little reason for him to take any sort of step back. . Point Guard. Golden State Warriors. Stephen Curry. 7. player

Oklahoma City Thunder. Kevin Durant. 6. player. 149. Now we get to the controversial part where I expect to get lots of eye rolls and shoulder shrugs. Here is the deal though: for me Durant is easily the best player in the NBA, but this is fantasy basketball. KD happens to play with one of the most talented and athletic players that the game has seen in Russell Westbrook. Westbrook has been running the show, and as the PG with the offense flowing through him, well sometimes lets just say it starts and ends with Russ.. Small Forward

67. Is this finally the season? As fantasy ballers we have all been waiting and waiting for the season where ‘Boogie’ Cousins finally puts his off-court woes behind him and plays a distraction-free season and delivers us the kind of numbers we have all known he was capable of. Well so far, Boogie has delivered outside of a stint earlier in December where he missed some games with an illness it appears that this is it. If you drafted Cousins this year, then pat yourself on the back and enjoy your roll to fantasy goodness.. Center. Sacramento Kings. DeMarcus Cousins. 5. player

Well, the King has fallen some, but not out of our top 5. I must admit that I had some problems not flip-flopping LBJ and KD and dropping the King down to the #6 spot. I would have no problem with anyone doing that as the problems seem to mount up in Cleveland. If they replace their coach, I wouldn’t mind seeing you drop James on down, but as for now let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves.. Small Forward. Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron James. 4. player. 156

3. player. 169. James Harden just continues to impress as the Rockets main scorer. Harden may make fun of himself for not playing defense in commercials, but as a fantasy owner in a league like this, who cares? I know I sure don’t. The brass in Oklahoma City must just be full of chagrin as they are left to wonder what he would have looked like with Russ and KD.. Shooting Guard. Houston Rockets. James Harden

Point Guard. Oklahoma City Thunder. Russell Westbrook. 2. player. 149. The number two spot finds itself occupied by none other that Mr. Russell Westbrook. Nothing really seems to slow this guy down. He suffers the occasional injury, but one thing you can bet on so far, is that first he will come back faster than his timetable, and second he will come back better than he was before. Russ is a player that might actually be more fun to watch than he is to own, as he attacks the rim like no other player that I have ever watched before.

1. player. 69. If you follow basketball at all, and I am guessing you do or else you would not be reading this article, you know all about Anthony Davis. You know that he used to play Point Guard until he had a rapid growth spurt before his junior year in high school. This made him a point guard in the body of a power forward, and has been a tremendous blessing to him as he handles the ball better than most power forwards that have ever played the game. I look for AD to keep a lockdown on this #1 spot and be the consensus #1 pick for the next several seasons, barring a major injury.. Power Forward. New Orleans Pelicans. Anthony Davis
