Although they’re covering the Cardinals at the moment, the ESPN has no idea who Darnell Dockett is, apparently.

Hey, we’re all prone to making mistakes as humans. However, it’s always just a little bit funnier when the folks at ESPN make one, especially one that just happens to involve one of the more famous defensive players in the NFL…like, say, the ever-vocal Darnell Dockett.
ESPN is covering the NFC Wild Card game on Saturday afternoon between the Arizona Cardinals and the Carolina Panthers. Well at one point while the Cardinals were on defense, they wanted to make a note that the unit is missing Dockett, who has sat the year out while rehabbing a knee injury.
You see, though, the only problem is: This is not Darnell Dockett.
No, that is not Mr. Dockett. That right there, ESPN, is second-year guard Jonathan Cooper. He doesn’t even play on the same side of the ball as Dockett.
Again, mistakes happen with humans, but when the folks at ESPN make major ones such as this, it gives you a little chuckle.
Oh and for those that are wondering, Dockett has yet to take to his twitter account to make a rebuttal, but you KNOW that it’s coming at some point.
