The rookie tight end hauled in a one-yard pass from quarterback Ryan Lindley to the cut the Cardinals’ deficit to 10-7 in the Wild Card round against the Carolina Panthers.

Watch a GIF of the play below:

Fells’ touchdown was set up by a huge mistake by the Panthers’ Brenton Bersin minutes prior. Bersin muffed a punt, setting the Cardinals up at the Panthers’ 30-yard line on the touchdown drive.

There’s no doubt that Bersin’s blunder could come back to haunt the Panthers.

Fells entered the contest after a regular season in which he posted five catches for 71 yards in 10 games. The Cardinals signed Fells, an undrafted rookie, in October.

Lindley, a three-year veteran, threw for 562 yards with two touchdowns and four interceptions in three regular season games.
