Arizona Cardinals quarterback Ryan Lindley is not having the best outing, to say the least, on Saturday against the Carolina Panthers.

More from Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals had an outstanding season this year, despite the fact they had some injuries at the quarterback position. Because of those issues, third-string quarterback Ryan Lindley had to take the reins of the offense for their Wild Card game against the Carolina Panthers on Saturday.

Well, it seems as if the concerns that everyone had about putting Lindley in this type of situation were warranted, as he has not had the best game of his football career.

One of the main concerns was that Lindley would have the game put in his hands with the game in the balance, which is what happened in the fourth quarter. The Cardinals’ offense was in the red zone down 27-14, when Lindley was picked off by Luke Kuechly.

Yeah, that is not the ideal outcome that you want in a situation such as that, but unfortunately for the Cardinals, this is the hand that they were dealt because of injuries.

Just a rough way for the Cardinals to go out after such an outstanding season in 2014.
