DeMarco Murray has been one of the major stars in the NFL this season, and is the biggest reason that the Dallas Cowboys are the third-seed in the NFC playoffs. Unfortunately, he has had a history of injuries throughout his career and was seen being checked for an arm injury on the sideline against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
It is unknown what the severity of the injury is, but it certainly is a concern for the Cowboys. Even if the injury isn’t too terribly serious, the last thing Dallas wants to see happen is players begin getting banged up.
He does look ready to get back on the field with his helmet on, but arm injuries are something that can mess with a running back, obviously. Murray has had some fumble problems this year as well, and a weak arm is the type of issue that could hurt that even more.
Here is the video of the play that could potentially have hurt Murray’s arm:
Obviously this is way to early to be speculating on what could end up happening or even expecting this to bother Murray. It is still a concern due to Murray’s past, and it is something to keep an eye on moving forward in this playoff game.
