Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh breaks down emotionally after loss to the Cowboys.

More from Dallas Cowboys

It took four games, but finally NFL fans received a treat in the Dallas CowboysDetroit Lions matchup. It was the only of the Wild Card games that ended in one possession and showcased a little drama.

The Lions, especially their front-seven, came out flying. They were hitting everything and anything in their way including forcing two early Dallas fumbles by Tony Romo and Dez Bryant. They held a 14-0 lead after one quarter of play and 20-7 lead in the third.

Romo and the Cowboys, though, would not die easily, as he found wide receiver Terrance Williams with just over two-minutes remaining for an eight-yard touchdown pass which gave Dallas a 24-20 victory.

Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh took the podium after the game, which showcased a different side of the big man:

Suh was as emotional as he could be.

The hot topic following the game was the picked up pass-interference call which turned a Lions 3rd down conversion into a fourth down situation and eventual punt. It lead to the Cowboys game-winning drive.

Suh will become a free-agent in March. Perhaps he believes his status as a Lion is in doubt, or actually realizes how tough it is to get this point in the season, and have it squandered away within the blink of an eye.

For all the bashing Suh takes for his questionable plays, I’ll take this throwback-style football player on my team any day.
