The NFL Network crew made fun of Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and his fondness for stepping on people.

The Detroit Lions are set to take on the Dallas Cowboys in an NFC Wild Card match up on Sunday. It looked like the Lions were going to be without their dominant defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh, who was suspended one game for stepping on the leg of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Suh appealed and claimed his feet were so numb that he didn’t know what he was stepping on. Seriously, we’re not making that up. And what is even more ridiculous than the excuse is the fact that he won his appeal and will play against the Cowboys on Sunday.

The issue is that it isn’t a solitary incident, but one in a long history of dirty plays from Suh. So, while previewing the match up between the Cowboys and Lions today, the NFL Network pre-game show crew decided to have some fun and made a whole bunch of stepping on jokes.

Highlights include:

  • Lions will just step on your toes
  • Lions like kicking people in the shin
  • They just put their foot right down

The best part is the clarification that this is all figurative.
