Las Vegas sees the Green Bay Packers maybe having a bit of an easy time next weekend against the Dallas Cowboys.

More from Dallas Cowboys

The Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs are now in the books after the action on Sunday, and we now know the match ups that we will be treated to in the Divisional Round. One game that everyone is probably looking forward to the most is the Green Bay Packers welcoming in the Dallas Cowboys.

To this point, there are many that consider the Packers to be the best team in the NFL, and the early point spread seems to reflect that.

Immediately after the Cowboys’ Wild Card win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday, the Packers opened up as a 6.5-point favorite over “America’s Team.”

Not really all that shocking to see, especially when you consider the fact that the Packers are looked upon as maybe the best in the NFL, while the Cowboys struggled a bit on Sunday at home against the the Lions. They needed a late fourth-quarter comeback to make sure they didn’t suffer yet another playoff disappointment.

Speaking of where the game is being played, that’s also something to take into account in this one. The Cowboys will have to travel to Green Bay for the contest, something that not many teams want to be doing when January rolls around. You especially don’t want to make that trip if you generally play your games indoors, such as the Cowboys do.

Green Bay will be coming into this one with an overall record of 12-4 on the season and are the NFC North champions. They’ll also be pretty well rested, earning themselves a bye this weekend by being the No. 2 see behind the Seattle Seahawks, who will be taking on the Carolina Panthers.

Dallas, following their win over the Lions, comes into this one with a record of 13-4.

As opposed to some other playoff match ups that we see, this will be the first meeting between these two teams this season.
