Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush extended their lead over the Dallas Cowboys to 14-0 with a nice 18-yard touchdown run.
The second day of the NFL Playoffs kicked off with the Indianapolis Colts dominating the Cincinnati Bengals. Now, the Detroit Lions are in Dallas trying to knock of the third-seed Cowboys. It is a tough task for them, but they have gotten off to a quick start and are making the Cowboys offense work for everything they get.

Reggie Bush has been a key veteran presence in the dual backfield with Joique Bell, and came through with a gorgeous 18-yard touchdown run early. The score extended Detroit’s lead over the Cowboys to 14-0, and he made a very difficult run look easy.
If the Lions are going to make a run in the playoffs, they are going to need Bush to be on the field making plays such as this. He has a versatile skill-set that is very difficult to defend against, and the Lions’ offense is much more dangerous when he’s on his game. Obviously seeing him take in a touchdown like this is a great start.
Take a look at the Bush touchdown run for yourself:
Detroit has one of the best defenses in the NFL, and getting out to an early two-possession lead is exactly how they wanted to begin this game. Tony Romo and the Cowboys, on the other hand, have to be a big concerned with how they have looked early on this afternoon.
This game is far from over and the Cowboys are going to make a push at some point, but the Lions offense looks to be on point this week. It is going to be very interesting to see what Dallas does to get their offense rolling, and whether or not Matthew Stafford and the Lions offense can keep rolling like they have been so far.
