Sunday seemed as if it would be yet another disappointing playoff outing for Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys. The Detroit Lions were in control for most of their NFC Wild Card game, with the Cowboys never holding the lead through most of four quarters.
Well, that trend would not continue forever in this one, as the Cowboys were able to grab a lead finally, at one of the most crucial of times.
Down 20-17 late in the fourth quarter and facing another early exit from the postseason, Tony Romo was able to fire off this touchdown pass to Terrance Williams, to finally put the Cowboys ahead in this one.
That was Williams’ second score of the game and it could not have come at a better time for Dallas.
