The Wild Card Weekend was most certainly a wild one.

The first round of the 2015 NFL Playoffs are officially over. All four games were close and the victors of all four showed just why they deserve to move onto the next round. The NFL is easily the most-watched sport in the USA and it’s good to know that viewers of this sport were able to watch some entertaining football in the first round of the playoffs. After this weekend, there are now just eight teams left in contention for the Super Bowl.

The winners of these games are now just two wins away from the Super Bowl. For the four teams that lost, they will head home, take some time off, and start looking to the offseason to decide the future of players on their team. Although four teams lost and they will be going home, it has to be said that it takes a great amount of ordeal to go through the regular season and be able to play in the playoffs. Without further adieu, here are five takeaways from wild card weekend.
