Joe Flacco Continues to Play Well in the Postseason

Whatever it is, Joe Flacco just shows up time and time again when the playoffs roll around. Although it took them until Week 17 to make the playoffs, the sixth-seeded Baltimore Ravens were able to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road and the main reason why was because of Flacco. In this game, Flacco completed 18 passes out of 29 attempts for 259 yards and two touchdowns. Those numbers aren’t perfect by any means, but they were consistent throughout the night and it showed.

By virtue of beating the Steelers, the Ravens will now travel northeast to play the New England Patriots, a team they have faced in two straight playoffs. When the Ravens won it all in 2013, they had to go through Foxboro. That being said, the Ravens know what it takes to beat the Patriots on the road as they did it just two years ago. Baltimore will have its hands full against Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, but this team will go as far as Flacco goes, and he’s playing at an extremely high level.
