The 2014 NFL playoffs started off with a bang, and the world couldn’t have asked for better games during the divisional round.

Everything moves so fast.

I was just getting over the fact that the NFL regular season was over, and now the first round of the playoffs has come and gone.

The postseason kicked off Saturday afternoon with the Carolina Panthers beating the Arizona Cardinals 27-16.

Arizona fought – and mostly defeated – adversity all throughout the regular season, but Cam Newton, Jonathan Stewart and Carolina’s defense was too much to overcome.

Saturday night ended with the long-time rivalry of the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Pittsburgh came into the game on a four-game winning streak, but Baltimore was simply the better team and cruised to a 30-17 victory.

Saturday’s games didn’t finish that close, and Sunday didn’t start any differently.

The Cincinnati Bengals traveled to Indianapolis to see who would move on to play the Denver Broncos.

The Colts beat the Bengals in Indianapolis 27-0 earlier in the season, and this game was much of the same as the Colts rolled to a 26-10 victory.

Wild Card weekend wrapped up in Dallas as the Cowboys hosted the Lions.

This actually ended up being the best game of the weekend, and the Cowboys were able to pull out a close 24-20 win.

So those were the outcomes, and here are the things we learned from all four games.

Next: You need offense to win
