What predictions can be made for the divisional round of the 2014 NFL Playoffs?

There are four very good games on the schedule for the divisional round of the 2014 NFL playoffs, and there is the potential to be upsets in each one of them.

Baltimore shocked the majority of the NFL by knocking off the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road, and the Ravens will head into New England to face the Patriots. The Carolina Panthers took care of business at home against the Arizona Cardinals, and will head out to face the number one-seeded Seattle Seahawks. Green Bay will be welcoming the Dallas Cowboys to Lambeau Field, while Peyton Manning will face the Indianapolis Colts in Denver.

All of those games could go either way, and there are going to be some very competitive endings. There was some drama in the first round of the playoffs, especially in the Cowboys and Lions game. Officials blew a key pass interference call down the stretch of the game that would have put Detroit in the driver’s seat.

Despite the drama, every team left in the playoff race is a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

Obviously this is where the race for the Lombardi Trophy begins to heat up, and you can expect to see some very intense matchups. It is never too early to begin taking a look at the divisional round of the playoffs, so let’s go ahead and take that leap.

What predictions can be made about the outcomes of each game?
