Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors shows out against Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
If you did not watch the Warriors do battle last night with the Thunder then you may have missed one of the most incredible point guard duels of all time. Steph Curry and Russell Westbrook went at each other all night and if you were like me, you could have watched that for hours on end. Curry must have taken this game with a bit of a personal vendetta and really showed Westbrook that he meant business. Watch as Curry pauses Westbrook with this hesitation move.
Now check it out from a slightly different angle.
Then watch as he works his magic and weaves through what seems like several Thunder defenders and dumps the pass between the Thunder defenderās legs. Unfortunately on that play Curry couldnāt use his magic to help his teammate make the basket, but I think we are getting the point. Curry is really good and it is time for the NBA to take notice as well.
Curry got the last laugh also as the Warriors rolled the Thunder by a score of 117-91 while pushing their record to a league best 27-5. As far as stats, for Curry he finished with 19 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals and with only 2 turnovers. Westbrook finished with 22 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 2 turnovers. The two get a chance to pair off again Friday, January 16 at 8 p.m. EST.
