When the Atlanta Hawks added Kent Bazemore to the roster this summer it was with the hope he could become the type of perimeter stopper they were looking for. As it turns out Bazemore’s biggest impact was on the bench celebration unit which showed off their talents before Kyle Korver could even get off an important three late in the Hawks win over the Grizzlies.

There is just a ton of gold going on here.

First the confidence factor in Korver. He has barely caught the ball before the bench unit starts its celebration with the excitement holds.

In that sequence, Kent Bazemore (I think) shows off his celebration talents when he just bear hugs Dennis Schroeder on the baseline until the shot goes in.

Pero Antic unveils a nice little towel twirl game once the shot goes in and the joy on Thabo Sefolosha‘s face on the close up is great.

But the real star of the celebration is second year player Mike Muscala who breaks out a pair of three goggles BEFORE KORVER’S SHOT WENT IN.

In case you haven’t realized yet, the Hawks are good and fun and everyone should watch them more. Especially if the bench is going to continue to entertain like this.
