Even Atlanta Hawks’ security is embracing Tinder Night, as they will be wearing “Swipe Left” shirts during the Wednesday game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Atlanta Hawks’ Tinder Night might one of the best sports promotions we’ve seen in quite some time.

The event calls for fans to use the dating app and meet up with fellow Hawks fans during the game after swiping right on them. The Hawks are even providing designated areas for those meet ups to occur.

“Hawks games have always been a great place to meet fun and vibrant people and we think ‘Swipe Right Night’ will take that to a whole new level,” Hawks CEO Steve Koonin said in a press release. “We were pioneers of the in-game ‘Kiss Cam’ and are hopeful that we can assist in making some more love connections at our games.”

Needless to say, the Hawks are going all out with this promotion. For further proof of that, check out the shirts that their guest service and security teams will be wearing during the event, which will take place Wednesday night when the Hawks take on the Memphis Grizzlies.

If there’s anything out there that’s going to encourage appropriate behavior, it’s “Swipe Left” shirts.

While this whole promotion sounds awesome and very weird, it certainly will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

Regardless, the Hawks are one of the most creative organizations out there and it’s really cool to see them take chances with promos like this one and the bring your boss to the game one they ran on Tuesday when they faced the Los Angeles Clippers.

Not only are the Hawks coming up with interesting promotions, they are playing outstanding basketball at the moment. Atlanta has won nine of its last 10 games, which includes victories over the Los Angeles Clippers, Portland Trail Blazers, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks and Chicago Bulls, giving them a 26-8 record, the best mark in the Eastern Conference.

They’ll face another elite team on Wednesday in the Grizzlies, who are 25-9 and have the third best record in the Western Conference.

With Tinder Night and a great game, there sure will be plenty of attention paid to the Hawks game Wednesday.
