BREAKING: Russell Westbrook dunks are still ferocious

Russell Westbrook has a reputation for his dunks. So much so that the “normal” things he can do go overlooked if nobody is paying attention. Like tonight where he slammed one home during the early part of tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings.

The Oklahoma City Thunder may only have 3 points total after that dunk but Westbrook was definitely setting the tone of what he wanted to do that night. The ferocity of the slam is almost like everything that has ever made Westbrook angry during his life is being taken out on the rim. Do the Kings make Westbrook so angry that he just has to slam his hand against the rim to let off some steam? The Kings should probably not do that unless they want Westbrook to score 60 points on dunks alone.

Of course, with the way the Kings fans reacted to the dunk maybe they do want to see Westbrook do that all night. Fans got loud and some might have even got out of their seats. While the majority of fans attending want to see the Kings win, it’s safe to say anybody can appreciate a good slam.

The greatest part about Russell Westbrook dunks is that they never get old. No matter how many times he dunks the ball it never fails to get a reaction. Just look at the bench and listen to the commentators, both have probably seen Westbrook do it a thousand times and they still are in complete awe of what he just did. Not many players have the entertainment ability to do the same thing on a consistent basis and still keep it fresh, but Westbrook does.
