With the announcement that Daniel Bryan will be competing in the Royal Rumble match later this month, there are a lot of people that are hoping to see him eventually take on Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31. This match would do a lot for wrestling fans, especially by giving them the ultimate David vs Goliath match up in the main event.

Well as you would expect, Bryan feels pretty much the same way.

During a recent interview with NOLA.com, Bryan let it be known that he wants to get into the ring with the Beast out in California in late March.

"“Brock Lesnar is also supposed to be on (Monday’s) show. And to me, that’s still my championship. My dream match for WrestleMania this year is if Brock Lesnar keeps the title and I win the Royal Rumble, and I wrestle Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 31 for the WWE championship. That’s the match I want. That’s the match that I’ve been thinking about this entire time that I’ve been injured. One of the wonderful things about Raw is you never know what to expect."

With so much uncertainty surrounding the card already, this might actually be the best way to go. Bryan has already showed that he’s very much over with the crowd, and he hasn’t lost the love he had during his amazing run last year.

In all actuality, this year’s run with Lesnar would be a lot better than last year.
