One man who will be in the mix to earn the job will be Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, who is set to interview with the team on Thursday, according to Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune.

Bowles was initially set to interview with the Bears on Saturday and with the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, but the interviews were switched around following the death of Falcons owner Arthur Blank’s mother, Molly Blank, who was 99 years old.

Todd Bowles’ sitdown with the Bears comes a day after the team met with two general manager candidates — Kansas City Chiefs director of player personnel Chris Ballard and New Orleans Saints director of player personnel Ryan Pace. Chicago has also interviewed Tennessee Titans vice president of player personnel Lake Dawson and Houston Texans director of pro personnel Brian Gaine for the general manager vacancy.

Prior to Thursday’s interview with Chicago, Bowles met with the New York Jets. On Friday, before he interviews with Atlanta, Todd Bowles will have a sitdown with the San Francisco 49ers.

With so many interviews, you would have to beleive the time could finally be now for Todd Bowles to get a head coaching job in the NFL.

It would be a job well-earned.
