The newest Hall of Fame inductees made an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman

Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez, John Smoltz and Craig Biggio all earned their call to Cooperstown this past week. All of the newest members of the Hall of Fame were some of the best of their era in the game at their positions.

All of them went on the Late Show with David Letterman this week to read Dave’s classic segment, The Top 10 List. The category was, “Things I Said When I Learned I Made The Baseball Hall Of Fame”.

The segment didn’t disappoint either, offering some funny laughs and showing a humorous side we haven’t seen before from these four.

Some of the segment’s best moments revolved around Johnson. Johnson spent his career in the majors, most notably with the Seattle Mariners and Arizona Diamondbacks, where he won a combined five Cy Young awards and a World Series.

No. 6 on the list, read by Biggio, Smoltz, and Martinez read, “Please tell me I got more votes than Randy Johnson”

The segment even referenced the classic incident where Johnson killed a bird during a spring training game. Overall, the four Hall of Fame inductees delivered a solid performance on the Late Show.
