Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers look to advance to the NFC Championship Game with an upset win at the Seattle Seahawks and Newton is bringing out his intimidating stare to show he’s about that action boss.

More from Carolina Panthers

The Panthers beat the Arizona Cardinals last Saturday as Cam Newton picked up his first playoff victory to become the first Heisman Trophy winner since Tim Tebow to win a playoff game, and apparently he’s feeling quite confident now.

As the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks came onto the field for the NFC Divisional Playoff game against Newton’s Panthers on Saturday night he made sure he got a front row seat to let his presence be known and let them know he won’t be intimidated.

Was this a boastful Newton puffing his chest out against the defending champs in the toughest environment for road teams or much ado about nothing.

Well, Mike Farrell from Rivals thought it was ridiculous and he let his feelings known in 140 characters or less on Twitter.

So there’s that.

I kinda thought it was the right type of mindset and attitude you need if you’re gonna take down Goliath.

We’ll see if Newton can lead the Panthers to the road upset, but it didn’t start out too well after they went three and out on their two possessions and the third ended with Newton throwing an interception to Richard Sherman.

You can watch Newton and the Panthers take on Russell Wilson and the Seahawks from CenturyLink Field on Fox.
