The New England Patriots opened the bag of trick plays in their AFC Divisional Playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens and Julian Edelman executed it perfectly for a beautiful, well-timed touchdown.

Just when you think the Patriots are on their last leg and the Ravens have done enough to put them away, they come out and unleash a trick play to take the life out of the opposition.
The Patriots faced a 14-point deficit for the second time against the Ravens but cut the deficit with a touchdown pass from Tom Brady to Rob Gronkowski to make it a one-possession game. Moments later the Patriots would throw another touchdown, but it wasn’t Brady who delivered.
Former Kent State quarterback Julian Edelman took the pass from Brady behind the line of scrimmage and delivered a well-placed ball down the field to Danny Amendola as the two connected for a 51-yard touchdown to tie game at 28 apiece with 4:28 remaining in the third quarter.
This was the first pass attempt for Edelman in his NFL career before converting to wide receiver after playing quarterback his whole life prior. Amendola has been resurrected in the game with this score being his second of the day after only having one touchdown in the regular season.
