Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors gets seven stitches after catching an elbow from J.R. Smith of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Watch as Klay Thompson catches an elbow from J.R. Smith Friday night, as the Warriors thump the Cavaliers, 112-94.
Yeah, OK J.R., we can give you the benefit of the doubt, as that elbow looks to be an accident. I mean, it is hard to tell if it was or was not on purpose, but Thompson did leave the game and get seven stitches to his head, before returning halfway through the 4th quarter and scoring a team-high 24 points.
Thompson also chipped in a block, two steals, two assists, four rebounds and four made three-pointers.

J.R. Smith, in just his second game with the Cavaliers, led with 27 points, while LeBron James continues to sit out and rest his ailing knee. Smith also had an assist, a steal, five rebounds and three made three-pointers of his own.
The Cavaliers, despite adding Smith, Timofey Mozgov and Iman Shumpert (who has yet to play) are still struggling and have lost eight of their last 10.
The two teams will meet again on Thursday, February 26 at 8 p.m. ET in Cleveland and we can only assume that the Cavaliers will be at full strength and will likely be a much more entertaining game.
