LeBron James hasn’t been playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers as of late, and it’s something that is causing me stress on him than you’d think.

It has been weeks since we’ve seen Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James suit up for the team, as he remains out with a variety of soreness issues. LeBron’s real problem is that he’s old and plays on a painfully pedestrian team, which is a source of frustration for many.

But the biggest frustration at the moment isn’t the losing — it’s the fact that LeBron James is unable to help the team win.

In an interview for the ‘Uninterrupted’ series, LeBron says that being out for so many consecutive games is uncharted territory for him and that it’s stressing him out not being able to play.

It’s not only stressful for LeBron, but it’s something that is no doubt taking its toll on the fans as well. After the worst start imaginable to the season this year, the Cavaliers are slowly starting to work their way out of the funk they’re in. It’s not happening as fast as anyone would like though, which is creating a problem big enough that two huge trades needed to be pulled off to try and fix the roster.

LeBron James being out has played a role in the losing streak the Cavaliers are in, but he’s also in more uncharted territory in that he’s on a bad basketball team. For now, the Cavaliers have a winning record but they’re a losing team in almost every way.

Defensively the team is struggling, which prompted the acquisition of Timofey Mozgov. Offensively they can’t get into grooves thanks to injuries and lack of chemistry, this motivated the front office to trade for J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert — jettisoning problem-child Dion Waiters in the process.

There is a lot riding on those trades and how well they pan out, and having LeBron James in a suit every night is something that isn’t making this first season back easy on anyone involved in Cleveland.
