The games begin on Saturday, with the much anticipated showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots. It’s a game that Tom Brady could end up losing, as he hasn’t had the best of luck against the Ravens in the postseason.
Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos are as vulnerable as they’ve ever been as they prepare to take on the Indianapolis Colts. That will be the final game of the weekend, as it takes place on Sunday night in Denver. It’s the first time that Andrew Luck and the Colts will be visiting Manning’s Broncos in the postseason, having played there in a losing regular season effort earlier this year.
Over in the NFC, the Saturday nightcap will see the Carolina Panthers travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. It seems like a one-sided matchup, but the Panthers have played the Seahawks tough in both of the games they’ve played against the Super Bowl champs over the last two years.
The highlight of the weekend though might be the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers. After last week’s debacle with the officials, the Cowboys are as popular and relevant as ever, but the Packers happen to be white hot as well. Aaron Rodgers’ health is an issue though, which could mean another win for the Cowboys is in store as they try to make it to the NFC Championship game.
It promises to be an exciting weekend of games and our NFL picks will provide an idea of how it could all play out.
Our overall records for the playoffs are as follows:
