Towards the end of the first half, the Colts were pinned back in their own territory after a Broncos punt and a Colts holding call a few plays later.
Rather than getting conservative and attempting to run the clock out at the half, Andrew Luck attempted to air it out deep to receiver Donte Moncrief. Instead, the pass getting almost no air sputtered right into the arms of Broncos rookie cornerback Bradley Roby.
The pass gave Denver another chance at points at the end of the half and Connor Barth connected on a 45-yard field goal to pull Denver within 14-10 at the half.
This is a game that is setting up to have an exciting finish as Peyton Manning has a chance to beat his old team to advance to the AFC Championship or alternatively with Andrew Luck, the newest quarterback sensation in Indianapolis, having a shot to lead the Colts back to the AFC Championship against their old nemesis the New England Patriots.
For the viewers sake, lets hope all Indianapolis and Denver Receivers complete all processes of the catch in the second half, so we can avoid a Green Bay and Dallas incident.
