Cowboys’ Dez Bryant doesn’t understand call
By Mike Dyce
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant doesn’t understand why his catch was overturned and doesn’t know what else he is supposed to do.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant seemingly made a big catch to keep the Dallas Cowboys season and Super Bowl aspirations alive. The catch was challenged and eventually overturned in what has become the most controversial call of the NFL season.

After the game Bryant tried to process what happened and couldn’t seem to grasp what else he is supposed to do.
“What am I supposed to do? I’m just reaching for the goal line. I don’t understand,” Bryant said, via Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.
It reiterates the point that head coach Jason Garrett made, that Bryant was making a football move with possession of the football and the catch had been made. Bryant obviously agreed because he reportedly spent 30 minutes after the game recreating and breaking down the catch trying to understand it.
Bryant is confident that a 100 out of a 100 people would agree that the catch.
The rule that overturned the catch is often associated with a similarly baffling call made against Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson years ago. The Lions tried to let the Cowboys know that they understood the pain, though maybe guised with a hint of trolling based on a controversial call in their loss to the Cowboys last week.
Bryant is clear about one thing he wants, that rule gone.
“I’m begging them: Please, please, please take that rule out,” Bryant said.
