Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo tied the Green Bay Packers up at 7-7 with a one-yard touchdown pass.

Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys went down 7-0 early on in the game after their first drive stalled, and Aaron Rodgers looked good on his opportunity. The Cowboys knew that they had to respond quickly, and that is exactly what they did.

DeMarco Murray has been clutch on third downs for the Cowboys already, and he converted a few as the Cowboys mounted their own scoring drive. They went 62 yards on 12 plays, and the drive ended with a one-yard touchdown pass from Romo to Tyler Clutts. It certainly wasn’t the prettiest drive, but Dallas got the job done and tied the game at 7-7.

Green Bay’s defense didn’t play too terribly bad, but they had a couple of key penalties that kept the Dallas drive alive. If they want to come away with a win, they need to continue putting pressure on Romo and finishing third downs with stops. Rodgers and the offense looks like it’s going to be capable of putting up some numbers, but the Cowboys offense has a lot of firepower as well.

Take a look at the touchdown pass from Romo to Clutts for yourself:

Dallas knows that they can’t continue coming up empty on their drives, and Romo showed a lot of poise. The Packers and Cowboys are in for a very close and heated battle, and any true football fan should turn the game on and enjoy watching these quality football teams go at it.
