Much like the controversial flag pick up in the Wild Card Round against the Detroit Lions, the Cowboys found themselves on the receiving end of bad luck this week.
On a 4th-and-2, Tony Romo aired the ball out deep to Dez Bryant, who appeared to haul in the catch. Unfortunately, for Bryant and the Cowboys, the call was overturned and their season was over.
Ironically, it was the rule that has been come to known recently as the “Calvin Johnson” rule.
Bryant, who made an incredulous effort to make the big play was in shock and disbelief on the sideline and you could tell the big receiver was sad.
You have to feel bad for Bryant who gave everything he had for his team only for him and the Cowboys to fall short of their dreams. The Cowboys had a great season and have nothing to hang their heads about.
