Actor Jeff Daniels is not a fan of watching the Green Bay Packers vs. Dallas Cowboys playoff game.
Jeff Daniels is one of the funniest actors in the business, and he shared his opinion on the first game of NFL Playoff action on Sunday. The Dallas Cowboys are visiting the Green Bay Packers, and Daniels made it clear that he was not a fan of watching the matchup.

Anyone that doesn’t know why he would be upset with watching the network only needs to know that Daniels is a diehard Lions fan. Not only did the Packers knock them off in Week 17 to win the NFC North division and earn the second NFC seed, the Cowboys beat them in the first round of the playoffs in one of the most dramatic finishes that the NFL has seen in quite some time.
Whether or not the officials blew calls in the Lions’ game against Dallas, it still wasn’t a good ending to a great game.
Daniels took to his Twitter account to talk about what watching the Packers vs. Cowboys game is like for him.
There are quite a few storylines involved in this afternoon’s game, the headline story being that Tony Romo is looking to further prove himself to the NFL as a legitimate Super Bowl caliber quarterback. Aaron Rodgers on the other hand is battling a major calf injury in an attempt to lead his Packers to the NFC Championship game in Seattle against the Seahawks.
That being said, for Lions fans like Daniels this is the worst possible matchup that they could have to watch. Being forced to remember the pain of two straight losses to end the season isn’t an easy thing to swallow.
