Ezekiel Elliott is straight up tearing apart the Oregon defense on Monday night in Dallas.
There is no question that while quarterback Cardale Jones has stepped up in a big way for the Ohio State Buckeyes the last few games, the most valuable player on the offensive side of the ball might just be running back Ezekiel Elliott, who is out once again Monday night tearing up a defense.
This time, it’s the Oregon Ducks who are feeling the punishment.
With the second half just getting underway, Elliott is once again nearing the 200-yard mark, as he’s already hit 135 in the game.
On the first Ohio State drive of the second half, Elliott showed that he has no intentions of slowing down anytime soon.
It really has been a joy to watch this kid basically put this team on his back when they need him the most, and if Ohio State walks away with the trophy on Monday night, Ezekiel Elliott will be a good reason why.
