3. Eddie Lacy’s Strong Running Style

Eddie Lacy was in his second NFL season this past year and came through with yet another impressive stat line. He will be going up against the third best run defense in the league on Sunday, but his aggressive and tough running style gives him a chance to put up production against them.

Throughout his second season, the 5-foot-11, 230-pound running back out of Alabama picked up 1,139 yards and nine touchdowns on 246 carries. There were a few points throughout the season where he played inconsistent football, but he has been nothing short of dominant late in the season and yesterday against Dallas. Lacy will be asked to break a few plays to help take pressure off of Aaron Rodgers, and he will have to be extremely aggressive against Seattle’s defense.

In his first meeting against the Seahawks this season, Lacy picked up just 34 yards on 12 carries.

That type of performance is not going to cut it this time around either, and the Packers need him to make some plays on the ground. Lacy has a tough challenge ahead of him, but he knows what it takes to get the job done.
